a notebook that i began one summer in ysleta, tejas, ept. it continues east, following the course of el río grande~bravo to El Valle and into the gulf of méxico...
thanks hector and suzanne... it's a beautiful time of year here (before the heat). the turtle had a baby with it too that was following her.
hector, come visit the valley sometime. we can try to find anzaldua's favorite writing spots and get the poems going again.
also hope summer brings more time for us all to write. hey, we can visit the rio bravo right there in ept and write. let's make a point of it... i'll let you know when i'll be back for summer.
