The Surdna Foundation's Arts program, which funds organizations that provide intensive art-making experiences for teens, is launching a new initiative in support of young creative writers. The foundation is seeking proposals from writers'/artists' colonies--artists' communities that serve creative writers--that have experience with or an interest in working with young people to develop a summer creative writing retreat program for teens.
