My grandma, the same in the prose poem I wrote for your class, told me that lizards make the best listeners. I spent many hours talking to passing lizards when I was growning up. Most of them did stop and lingered around while I spoke to them. I now have an iguana that I read to every so often. He hates poetry, but loves fiction.
